Exsol is a city-building simulation game set in the near future, where humanity is just beginning to colonize the solar system. Your task is to take command of a prototype mining station in the asteroid belt and establish a supply chain for further colonization efforts. Establish your base of operations, manage your crew and process incoming supply requests in a hostile but lucrative environment.

You are a manager of the Exsol company and entrusted with the management of the first extraterrestrial mining station. Starting with limited resources and a skeleton crew, you must show determination and ingenuity to overcome the various challenges ahead. Every step is crucial, whether building a basic infrastructure or managing a thriving economy. Difficult decisions must be made. Do you put the company's goals above the needs of your employees? Will you cooperate with other companies or fight against your competitors? What risks will you take in an environment where any mistake can be fatal?

Hex-based architecture

In Exsol, your station is divided into hexagonal sectors that can contain up to 6 rooms of different sizes. Larger rooms offer more usage options and greater efficiency, but are also more energy-intensive. Your sectors need to be supplied with power and maintained to avoid breakdowns. They also need to remain accessible for staff and materials. Place access corridors and doors for faster travel but at the cost of precious workspace. In Exsol, you constantly need to find a balance between effective use of space and efficient infrastructure. And all this without your team suffering as a result. Are you up to the task?
